Charlevoix Stingrays Swim Team Groups
Jr. Stingrays ~ Tues or Thur 4:00-5:00PM
- Jr. Stingrays Swimmers are new to the team. Must be able to swim the length of the pool. Focus is on stroke development and introduction to competitive swimming. Home swim meet participation is encouraged.
Blue Group ~ Tues or Thur 3:45-5:00PM
- Blue Group Must be able to swim the length of the pool. Focus is on stroke development of all four competitive strokes. Introduction to starts and turns. Home swim meet participation is encouraged.
Gold Group ~ Pick two days Mon, Wed or Fri 3:45-5:00PM
- Gold Group This group is for swimmers who know all four compeitive strokes. Swimmers will continue work on stroke technique while beginning some endurance and competitive training. Swim meet participation is encouraged. Dry land training may be part of the swimmer's training experience.
*Silver Group ~ 3 -4 Days 3:45-5:00PM M/W/F and/or 4:30-6:00PM Tues/Thur
- Silver Group (10 yrs and older) This group is designed for swimmers with competitive experience. Swimmers will continue work with endurance and competitive swimming training. Swimmers will be using dry land training as a tool in their training program. Swim meet participation is strongly encouraged.
*Senior Group ~ 5 Days 3:45-5:00PM M/W/F 4:30-6:00PM Tues/Thur
- Senior Group This group is designed for swimmers with competitive experience. Swimmers will continue work with endurance and competitive swimming training. Swimmers will praticipate in dryland training and nutrution education. Swim meet particiaption is essential to take advantage of this program. $51 USA swimming membership is encouraged. USA swim meets are weekend meets 3-4 hours away.
