ELIGIBILITY
|
Pool hours change according to the time of year.
The pool will not be open on Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve & Christmas.
The Charlevoix Area Community Pool is a year-round facility.

0-5 year olds admitted for $2 with in-water adult supervision
Elementary school (K-4th grade) admitted for $2 with in-water adult supervision. If the child is at least 48 inches tall or able to swim the length of the pool, the adult may stay on deck.
Middle school students are not required to have adult supervision.
|
Individual/Adult - anyone over the age of 18 and younger than 62.
Senior - anyone who is 62 years young or older.
Student - anyone between the ages of 4 and 18.

ACTIVITIES:
$1.00 Nights - district swimmers swim for only a $1.00 every Monday and Wednesday night, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. (please note: non-district swimmers are $1.50)
Senior Swim - Adults 62 years of age and older.
Lap Swimming - during lap swim, all the lane markers will be in the pool and lanes are set up for circle swimming.
Char-Em - Charlevoix-Emmet County Intermediate School District.
O.Y.O. Exercise (On Your Own Exercise Period) - during O.Y.O. exercise times, the pool will be open for adults and seniors for general swimming/exercise. Pool is shared with CAH. No laps.
Open Swim - during open swim times, the pool will be available for general use. One lane may be set up for lap swimming if the demand for general uses is not too great. Priority goes to general use.
CAH - Charlevoix Area Hospital therapy.
Pool Rentals - $105 per hour (Recreational Authority District), $130 per hour (non-district), additional $30 for open/close pool, plus $10 per guard, per hour.
Swim School - American Red Cross certified swimming lessons.
Twinges - "Twinges in the Hinges" arthritis class. Drop-in or four-week pre-registration.
Aqua Ex - drop-ins or four-week pre-registration
Masters - Adult Swim Team
Bergman Center - will be here part-time
Semi-private Lessons - four students per 30-minute class
