Infant/Toddler (for children 6 -18 months)

| This 30-minute class is for children, age six-eighteen months. Water adjustment, water entry, fron kick and glide, explore submerging to the outh, nose and eyes completely, explore buoyancy on front and back, arm movements front and back plus parent safety and use of personal floatation device. Non-toilet trained children must wear a "Little Swimmer" diaper. Parent must be in the water with the child. |

Toddler/Pre-School (for children 18 -36 months)

| This 30-minute classcombines basic swimming skills and games to introduce 18-36 month olds to the water. Skills include acclimatization to the water, breath control, rotary breathing, kicking, arm strokes, jumping into the water and pushing off the wall. Teachers will introduce child water safety, Non-toilet trained children must wear a "Little Swimmer" diaper. Parent must be in the water with the child. |

Beginner Level 1/Water Exploration
(a swimmer's first class without a parent in the water)

| This 30-minute class combines basic swimming skills to swimmers ready to be in the water without a parent. Swimmers will continue work on water adjustment, with emphasis on breath control, human stroke and sculling on back. Swimmers will blow bubbles through their mouth and nose, submerge mouth, nose and eyes and gliding. |

Advanced Level 1/Water Exploration
|
| In this 30-minute class swimmers will begin bobbing, opening eyes under the water and retrieving submerged objects. Swimmers will work on front and back floats and finning. Swimmers will continue work on water adjustment, with emphasis on breath control, human stroke and sculling on back. |

| This class increases swimming competency and teaches personal safety and rescue skills. | Swimmers must be able to swim 50 yards. Focus on efficient front and back crawl strokes, continue sidestroke, breaststroke, treading water and diving skills. Underwater swimming and open turns are intorduced, as well as development of personal safety, including first aid for neck and back injuries. |

SEMI-PRIVATE LESSONS
| Semi-private lessons are available to offer more individualized instruction. Maximum enrollment for class are four students for Beginner through Advanced Competitive levels. Please use the above guidelines to decide which levels would be best for your child. |

Beginner I
|
| This class is for children three years and older. Students in this class are ready to be in class without a parent; however, the students are still nervous about swimming and are not yet ready to go underwater. |

Refund Policy: Cancellations must be done seven days prior to your child's first day of swim lessons in order to receive a refund. A $5 handling charge will be deducted from the refund. There will be a 50% penalty for late cancellations. You my transfer your child threes days prior to their first swim lesson. No refunds will be granted after classes have begun, except in cases of extenuating circumstances. In the case of a medical problem, the refund will be prorated according to the number of classes attended or when the Charelvoix Area Community Pool (CACP) was notified.
Make-ups: no make-ups are built into the schedule.
Non-toilet Trained Swimmers: must wear a "Little Swimmers" diaper.
